Bishop J. R. Mitchell is the Metropolitan Archbishop and Presiding Prelate of Alliance of Covenant Leaders Worldwide, LLC, and the Lead Pastor of Christ Culture Church DFW. This virtual space will share more about the ministry of Bishop J. R. Mitchell, and provide information if interested in inviting him to share during your next event.

The Bishop Jonathan R. Mitchell is a native of the Fort Worth, TX and currently resides in the Dallas Fort Worth area. He received his formal educational matriculation in the Fort Worth Public Schools, and is a graduate of the High School for Finance and Communications at Polytechnic High School.  He continued his educational explorations studying Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.  

 

He answered to the call to preach in 1980 and has served in the Gospel Ministry for over 35 years.  He was licensed in the Church of God in Christ and later ordained in the Missionary Baptist. At the age of 21 He was called to the office of Senior Pastor and was the Establishmentarian and Lead Pastor of The REACH Church (Refreshing Word Outreach Church International) for over 6 years.  He then went on to serve in a multiplicity of capacities under the leadership of his spiritual father, Dr. Darrel W. Blair at the New Breed Christian Center; namely, Youth Pastor, Executive Administrator, and Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor.  

 

He dutifully served there for a number of years, prior to receiving the blessing and release from his Pastor to establish and launch The Life Center Church in Dallas, TX. He has served in the role as Senior/Lead Pastor collectively for over 11 years, with the latter five years as the Lead Pastor of The Life Center Church Reloaded. Bishop Mitchell's current role has been both a refining and defining role in the life of his ministry.  He has seen and overcome many obstacles during his tenure, and the Lord has tremendously blessed him to continue to make great strides for the Kingdom.  

 

In 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Bishop Mitchell licensed and ordained 6 into the office of Minister and Elder, one of them being his wife, who now serves along side him as the Executive Pastor, and also during this time the ministry was revamped and relocated to Arlington, TX.  In the following year on July 19, 2021, Bishop Mitchell was dully consecrated with Apostolic succession into the Office of the Bishop.  He with great reverence has on-taken this responsibility as a princely priest in the Lord's Church, and has aimed to serve the episcopacy with the utmost level of dignity and grace.

 

Since his consecration, Bishop Mitchell has served in numerous episcopal offices, namely in the offices of Protocol and as Adjutant General.  His administrative prowess and excellence in leadership in the area of protocol, has established Bishop Mitchell as a respected authority in the Lord's Church in the areas of ceremonial decorum and execution.  In August of 2023, Bishop Mitchell respectfully disjoined with the reformational structure where he had formerly served for over nine years.   In May of 2024, the Lord impressed upon Bishop Mitchell's heart to begin to broaden the reach of his local church, and develop an ecclesiastical paradigm that would produce platforms for the cultivation of pastoral leadership to be equipped for modern ministry and marketplace.  

 

As a result the Lord affirmed in Bishop Mitchell's spirit the redeveloping of The Life Center Church Reloaded into a multifaceted, multi phase, and ultimately forthcoming multicampus ministry, which encompassed a rename, rebrand, and relocation.  The launch of  Christ Culture Church DFW was propelled and the ministry was subsequently relocated to the North Richland Hills area of Tarrant County.  

 

Bishop Mitchell is a Gospel preacher, and is endowed with an organic and unique anointing. His ability to masterfully convey the Gospel message through both his teaching and preaching ministry, has afforded Bishop Mitchell opportunities on an array of platforms across the country to share his convictions of our Christ, since the age of 18.  In addition to his exegetical abilities relative to his preaching and teaching, Bishop Mitchell is often called upon to offer lectures and motivational talks in the corporate sector and various secular arenas as well.  

 

Additionally, Bishop Mitchell is a gifted psalmist and lyricists, and has had a growing passion for music since he was five years old.  His gift for composing has birth over 150 gospel songs, poems and prose.  Bishop Mitchell is also considered as an influential figure in his local community, and is regarded as a humanitarian and philanthropist as well.  He is the President and General Manager of J. R. Mitchell & Co., The Funeral Directors, LLC. and has served thousands of families over the span of a 24 year career in the Death Care Industry.  Through his establishment, Bishop Mitchell along with his wife have contributed countless funds for free burials of veterans, indigent families, and parents who have experienced the loss of a young child.  Bishop Jonathan R. Mitchell has an infectious personality and possesses an approachable spirit. He is the Establishmentarian, and seated Metropolitan Archbishop and Cheif Apostle of Alliance of Covenant Leaders Worldwide (ACLW), which he established as a platform for Pastors and Leaders to experience organic connections and to have an avenue for access to viable resources for the effective development of ministry.  Beginning with a core of 15 pastors and their spouses, since its inception ACLW has blossomed and grown to now embody over 50 pastors and leaders, 15 covenant churches, and nearly 500 total non-clergy constituents in the General Assembly  He has been married for 11 years to his partner in life and in ministry, Pastor Lateiundria Mitchell, who is the love of his life, and together they share seven children.
